Game Pass Is Coming to T-Mobile US Plans as a Wireless Perk
Starting in November, eligible T-Mobile customers in the US can pick Game Pass Ultimate or Premium as a plan benefit. It's US-only for now, but the idea is worth watching.

T-Mobile has announced T-Mix, a plan that gives US customers more say over the benefits that come with their wireless service, and Game Pass is one of the options. According to Xbox Wire, starting in November eligible T-Mix customers will be able to choose Game Pass Ultimate or Game Pass Premium. Microsoft calls it the first time Game Pass has been offered through a wireless plan in the US.
What was announced
The perk is for eligible customers only, and it starts in November, not today. For eligibility and how to select it, Xbox points to T-Mobile’s own announcement. Per the post, the subscription works on devices you already own: Xbox consoles, smart TVs and PCs.
The Xbox Wire post gives no T-Mix prices and doesn’t say how many plan picks each subscription uses. Other outlets have reported prices and a picks system, but we couldn’t confirm them with Xbox or T-Mobile, so we’re leaving them out.
What it means for you
This is US-only, and nothing has been announced for any other country. If you’re outside the US, nothing changes for now: you still sign up for Game Pass the usual way, at the usual price.
What’s interesting is the direction. Microsoft is looking for more ways to reach subscribers, and one of them is a bill people already pay every month. I think a phone plan is a sensible home for a gaming subscription: people already pay for it every month, and a perk is easy to say yes to without a second thought.
