Blizzard wants players to be able to play World of Warcraft: Forever on more devices in the future, but has not announced a console version. In an interview with GamesRadar+, executive producer and vice president Holly Longdale said the first step was making gamepads work well with the game.

Forever’s beta already included native controller support. Longdale said that work could give players flexibility beyond consoles and pointed to people running the game on the ROG Ally X, a handheld PC.

The PC version is scheduled to launch on November 4 at 23:00 UTC. Our earlier story covers access and character name reservations.
