Action game Tenjutsu is coming to Switch 2 in 2027 alongside its PC version. The console version and release window were revealed during Nintendo’s Indie World showcase.

Developed by Deepnight Games, the studio led by Dead Cells designer Sébastien Benard, the game is published by Devolver Digital. The announcement adds Nintendo’s console to its platform lineup; a specific launch day has yet to be set.

Choose the order of your fights

Tenjutsu follows Ten, a former yakuza returning to Kuroboro City after prison. Three criminal syndicates see her return as a threat, and she faces them in battles combining martial arts with melee and ranged weapons.

You choose which order to fight the syndicates in. Every victory strengthens those that remain, making the one you leave until last the most dangerous opponent.

Reshape the city between runs

The city changes between runs, and you can influence how you move through it: add vending machines, alter shop stock and prices, and unlock advanced weapons. Alongside progress within each run, victories also grant permanent advantages that carry forward.
