Escape from Tarkov update 1.3 brings a Halloween event, autumn weather and faster progression in Seasonal mode. The shooter’s move to the Unity 6 engine, previously planned for October, has been delayed to mid-November as part of update 1.3.5.0.

Battlestate Games began installing the update on October 29 and said the game would be unavailable during installation. It estimated the work would take five to seven hours, but said it could be extended.

Tougher bots and faster Seasonal progression

The update adds high-difficulty PMC bots to PvE Zone, where they can spawn in high-level locations. In Seasonal mode, the leveling speed of all skills has been significantly increased.

The update also changes Metabolism skill progression to depend on the amount of energy or hydration restored, and makes certain currency and valuables easier to find and pick up during raids.
