Sony reveals transparent PS5 controllers and covers
The Prism Collection arrives from February in three transparent colors, with separate prices for DualSense controllers and console covers.
Sony has introduced the Prism Collection, a range of transparent DualSense controllers and PS5 console covers. The collection begins rolling out on February 4, 2027, with preorders opening on November 10, 2026 at 10 a.m. local time in participating regions.
The three colors are Flare Orange, Emerald Green and Graphite Gray. According to the PlayStation Blog announcement, the transparent finish is intended to reveal some of the design inside the controller and console. Each color has a glossy finish.
Controller and cover prices
The recommended price for a Prism DualSense controller is $84.99 in the US, €84.99 or £74.99. The matching covers are sold separately, at recommended prices of $74.99, €74.99 or £64.99.
Sony says the covers will be sold directly through PlayStation where that service is available, and in limited quantities through select retailers in other regions. Preorders for the controllers and covers will also be available through participating retailers; the exact launch date and availability may vary by country and region.
