The remake of the original Silent Hill could arrive in 2027. According to MP1st’s October 26 report, that is Bloober Team’s target release window, and two actors are already attached. The release window and casting details have not been officially confirmed.

What the report says

The outlet names 2027 as the target but stresses that schedules can change. It also says casting is taking place under the codename Project Noise.

The two actors named are Gabrielle Fritz and Jade Matthew. The report does not establish their roles. Its suggested possibilities, including Cybil Bennett, Lisa Garland and Dahlia Gillespie, are speculation rather than confirmed casting.

IGN also published the details, citing MP1st. That is another account of the same report, not independent verification. The actor who will play Harry Mason is not identified in the report.

The remake itself is confirmed

The project itself is not a rumor: Konami confirmed that it is remaking the original 1999 Silent Hill and mentioned the work in its official July 2025 report. What remains unconfirmed here is when the remake will launch and who will star in it. Platforms have not been announced either.

Better to give the team the time it needs than rush to meet a release year that has not even been announced.
