Pixel Pitch returns to Jerusalem as game creators seek collaborators
The second community game-development cohort opens tonight at Hamiffal, with pitches, feedback and a chance to meet creators.

Game creators will present projects from the new Pixel Pitch #2 cohort in Jerusalem tonight, November 3. They’ll receive feedback from a professional games-industry panel and can explain what collaborators they need for the work ahead. The free kickoff runs from 18:30 to 21:30 at Hamiffal, 3 HaMa’aravim Street.
The event is organized by MakeGamesJLM, a Jerusalem game-making community of programmers, artists and designers. Pixel Pitch is its free, ten-week community game-development program. The group also holds weekly meetups at Hamiffal, networking events and game jams, where people make games together.
In its announcement ahead of the first cohort, the community said the program was intended to help creators keep working on their projects through feedback and a structure shared with other developers. The format outlined then began with pitches and realistic goals for ten weeks, ending in a public showcase where people could play the projects and give feedback.
The pitches are also a chance to meet people interested in joining a team. Organizers welcome people working in programming, art, game design, sound, production and other areas of game making. You can also come just to listen and learn from the feedback; you don’t need a game idea or plans to join a team.

For a look at earlier work, MakeGamesJLM’s itch.io page collects games from the first cohort in summer 2026. In The Fixer, a time-traveling agent faces glitches in history through tactical, turn-based battles using dice. It’s playable in a browser.

Another first-cohort example is Obscura: Below the Smile, a 2D horror game about a girl escaping a forest and solving puzzles. Its creators describe it as a one-level prototype available to download for Windows. These are games from the earlier cohort.
To attend, register on Luma. Anyone who also wants to join a Pixel Pitch team should complete the separate Google Form; listeners do not need it. Matching depends on a mutual fit between people and projects.
