Phantom Blade Zero PC preload needs 300GB of free space

The game itself takes around 145GB, but PC players planning to preload it will need to leave more room for the process.

Phantom Blade Zero developer S-Game is asking PC players to reserve at least 300GB for preloading, even though the game itself takes around 145GB. Preloading is already available ahead of Thursday’s release.

Preloading needs more room than the game

The 300GB requirement applies to the PC preload process, rather than the game’s final installed size. It is not a storage requirement for the PS5 version either.

Alongside the storage figures, the developer recommends installing the game on an SSD and updating graphics drivers before playing.

Unlocking Thursday at 02:00 UTC

The PC version unlocks on Thursday, October 29, at 02:00 UTC, according to the official Steam announcement.
