Nintendo will stream a new Indie World showcase on Wednesday, October 28 at 14:00 UTC. According to the official showcase page, it will run for around 15 minutes and feature announcements and updates on indie games coming to Switch and Switch 2.

When and where to watch

You can watch through Nintendo’s Indie World page, which embeds the stream. The advertised start time is 7am Pacific, equivalent to 14:00 UTC that day.

The presentation focuses on indie games. The official announcement does not yet name the games that will appear, so there is no confirmed lineup or promise that a particular game will become available immediately after the show.

What appeared last time?

According to VGC, the previous Indie World aired in March and lasted around 18 minutes. It featured Blue Prince, Outbound and Denshattack among other games. Those are examples from the previous show, not a list of games announced for the upcoming presentation.

It will be interesting to see which indie games make use of Switch 2’s capabilities rather than simply bringing over last-generation versions. This is definitely another win for the indie scene.
