Nagoshi Studio, founded by Like a Dragon creator Toshihiro Nagoshi, has entered dissolution following an October 31 shareholder resolution. The notice in Japan’s Official Gazette was published today, November 2.

Nagoshi previously led the Like a Dragon series at SEGA. Inven Global reports that the studio was established in 2021 with funding from NetEase Games. In December 2025 it revealed GANG OF DRAGON, an action-adventure game starring actor Ma Dong-seok.

The dissolution notice concerns the studio’s legal entity and is not a bankruptcy announcement. Inven Global reports that no official cancellation of the game has been announced. Its Steam page still lists its release as Coming soon; the game is set in Tokyo’s Shinjuku district and follows Korean crime syndicate member Shin Ji-seong.
