Digital Foundry tests found higher input latency in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 multiplayer on Switch 2 than on PS5. IGN reports measurements of about 81 milliseconds docked and 100 milliseconds in handheld mode, compared with 49.1 on PS5 at 60Hz.

The handheld measurements ranged from 83 to 125 milliseconds. According to Nintendo Scoop, the tests used wireless Switch 2 Pro and DualSense controllers; the figures do not necessarily represent every controller or mode.

Input latency is the delay between a controller action and its response on screen, not network ping. Frame rate is a separate measure: IGN reports that multiplayer targets 60 frames per second and reaches it most of the time, while the campaign runs at 30.
