The PC edition of Mortal Kombat 4 has joined the GOG Preservation Program and received an update for modern systems and controllers.

GOG’s October 29 changelog lists improved Windows 10 and 11 compatibility and support for modern controllers, including DualSense and Xbox controllers. It also adds wireless use and hotplugging.

Updated 3dfx Glide emulation offers custom resolution and refresh-rate options, while CD audio music emulation has also been updated. Another fix corrects Shinnok’s appearance when frozen by Sub-Zero.
