Loftia launched into Early Access on PC on November 3, as scheduled, opening a shared world with four main-story chapters across Loftia City, the Hanging Gardens and Gridfall.

Developer Qloud Games describes several ways to reach new places: a propeller upgrade for the glider, Bounce Shoes and boots for riding rails. Its Early Access page also describes fishing, research stations and shared projects, including rebuilding the city dome.

You can play solo without blocking your progress, but an internet connection is required even when playing alone. The game is available through Steam and the Epic Games Store on Windows and Mac; a Nintendo Switch version is planned for 2027.

Alongside the game purchase, an optional shop sells cosmetic items such as outfits and furniture. The paid Community Pass unlocks additional cosmetic rewards from shared projects. According to the developer, those rewards do not expire and can be unlocked after a project is completed.

Qloud targets roughly a year in Early Access, though it says the full release date will also depend on community feedback. It plans to add regions, quests and systems during development.
