Lightyear Frontier left Early Access on November 4, launching version 1.0 on Steam and Xbox. After two years in Early Access, the update adds two areas and main missions that bring the story to its conclusion.

In Frame Break’s farming game, players drive a mech, grow crops and build a farm on an alien planet. The full release also wraps up the neighbor stories of Diane and Ulf through new missions, with new mechanics to unlock along the way.

The farm itself works differently in places. According to the developer’s notes, automation now works by connecting a storage structure directly to a crafting structure, without the old automator. Days transition seamlessly without a transition screen, and progression has been reworked.

The developer warns that a fix to the water reservoir’s output means existing pipe connections from that output must be rebuilt.
