Hot Wax comes to Steam today with burning candle puzzles

PUNKCAKE Délicieux’s puzzle game Hot Wax is scheduled to arrive on Steam today, October 29, for Windows, macOS and Linux. A free demo is already available to download.

Instead of arranging rows of falling blocks, players place candles in different shapes so a flame can travel between their wicks and start a chain reaction. Once the fire is lit, players must keep placing candles to help it spread, but a careless placement can put it out.

The game has six modes: Ritual sets a score target, Penance asks players to clear a growing wall of wax, and Service offers a daily challenge. It supports keyboard and controller play, with rebindable controls.
