GTA 6's map is roughly twice the size of GTA 5's, Edge preview says
Rockstar showed Leonida to Edge and discussed a major increase in interiors, alongside details on car theft and missions.

GTA 6’s map is roughly twice the size of GTA 5’s, according to an Edge preview of the game. Rockstar told the magazine that the landmass of Leonida, including Vice City and the surrounding areas, is nearly as large as the playable maps of GTA 4, GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 combined.
More interiors and individual reactions from residents
Rockstar North co-head of development Aaron Garbut told Edge that the game has an order of magnitude more interiors than its predecessors. The magazine describes residents reacting to the player in different ways and reports roughly 600,000 animations for those characters.
Stealing cars and funding the next job
Between some story missions, Jason and Lucia will need to raise money for the next job, whether by committing a robbery or stealing a wanted car. A phone app lists models sought by fences and their security features. Expensive cars can transmit their location to police, and part of the payment depends on the car’s condition when delivered.
You can also pay to have one of your cars delivered through an app; weapons are stored in its trunk. Each vehicle has a fuel gauge and an engine health indicator, according to Edge’s preview.
The game is due November 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series. An earlier report on the PS5 download size remains unconfirmed by Rockstar.
