Intel shares fell 28.6% in regular Nasdaq trading on Friday, October 30. AMD and Nvidia also declined sharply, according to Reuters’ closing report. The figures are from Friday’s close at 22:00.

Intel (INTC) makes PC processors and Arc graphics processors. AMD (AMD) fell 10.9%; it makes Radeon graphics cards and chips for PlayStation and Xbox consoles. Nvidia (NVDA) fell 4.2%; it makes GeForce graphics cards and the chip in Switch 2. All three trade on Nasdaq.

Amazon (AMZN), also listed on Nasdaq, fell 1.4%, according to The Wall Street Journal. Its gaming businesses include Amazon Games, Luna and Prime Gaming. These figures describe the companies’ overall shares. Reuters attributed the selloff to reactions to Intel and Amazon results and concerns about spending on artificial intelligence.

The next regular US session is scheduled to open today, November 2, at 16:30. The United States switched off daylight saving time on November 1, changing the opening hour in Israel from Friday’s. The NYSE calendar and NIST daylight saving rules set out the hours and transition.
