Flight Simulator's free World Update 23 refreshes Poland and the Baltics
The update is available for the 2020 and 2024 simulators, with 12 detailed areas, 77 landmarks and five handcrafted airports.

Microsoft Flight Simulator’s World Update 23 arrived on October 26, improving Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. It is free for owners of both the 2020 and 2024 simulators, with more detailed scenery and new activities in the region.
More to see on the way down
The update refreshes 12 areas using photographic mapping and updated elevation data, including Warsaw, Gdansk, Riga and Tallinn. It also adds 77 landmarks, from castles and lighthouses to bridges and churches.
Gaya, which also operates a studio in Tel Aviv, has handcrafted five airports: Kärdla in Estonia, Jūrmala in Latvia, Palanga in Lithuania, and Warsaw-Babice and Opole-Kamień Śląski in Poland. That gives pilots new landing destinations alongside the scenery improvements.
An update like this is a good excuse to pick a destination you would not usually fly to.
Activities beyond free flight
Both simulator versions receive three Discovery Flights over Warsaw, Sigulda and Tallinn, plus four landing challenges. In the 2024 edition, these are Precision Landings, joined by a landing challenge on Sopot’s pier, a guided tour of Tatra National Park and a rally race.
How to download it
Update your simulator to the latest version first, then download World Update 23. It is an addition to the game you already own, with no separate scenery purchase required.
