Rumor: Community rebuilds playable version of Valve's cancelled F-Stop
Kotaku reports that community members combined leaked material from the cancelled Portal experiment into a playable build.

Community members have assembled a playable reconstruction of F-Stop, Valve’s cancelled puzzle project, according to a Kotaku report by Lewis Parker. Valve has not confirmed the material’s authenticity or the claims about the build.
F-Stop was a 2007 experiment connected to Portal’s development. As Parker describes it, the proposed prequel used a camera to manipulate perspective and solve puzzles. Valve ultimately cancelled the project, and the report says some of its dialogue, characters and mechanics were reworked for Portal 2.
According to Kotaku, assets appeared in an earlier leak, while source code and map-source files emerged more recently through the Valve Cut Content community. The outlet reports that members of that community verified the map files and combined the material into a playable version.
