EXODUS shows around 40 minutes of a mission to free a space station
A look at Liberating the Kay shows the fight for Khonsu and choices that will determine the fate of its inhabitants.

Developer Archetype Entertainment has released a new look at EXODUS, showing around 40 minutes of a mission aboard the space station Khonsu. We see that the mission combines combat with choices that will affect the station’s inhabitants.
Ship parts in exchange for a mission on Khonsu
The mission takes place several hours into the science-fiction RPG. Jun Aslan needs parts to make the ship capable of interstellar travel and turns to Suliman Tenjin, leader of the Tenjin Dynasty. In exchange, Suliman asks a favor: go to Khonsu, a defensive station orbiting Jun’s homeworld of Lidon.
Khonsu has been home for generations to the Kay, a species of intelligent frogs. Jun’s half-brother Gideon Aslan and his forces have seized the station. Suliman joins the crew and fights alongside Jun during the mission, according to the developer’s account.
A choice between protection and control
One decision concerns the price of protecting the Kay. Suliman wants to change the station’s beacon instructions to secure their loyalty to his dynasty for generations. Players can agree or insist on protecting Khonsu without controlling its inhabitants. Archetype says the choice over the Kay’s fate will have lasting consequences.
Other decisions involve smaller encounters: players can give a wounded enemy a med pack or refuse to help, and buy an access card from a guard or take it by force. The choices reflect two paths the developer calls Paladin, associated with virtue, and Immortal, associated with ambition.
The single-player game is due on April 7, 2027, for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series, according to the release-date announcement. The full footage is available to watch at Gematsu.
