The Elder Scrolls VI could be called Sentinel, with Microsoft potentially revealing the full title as soon as next month. That’s according to Tom Warren at The Verge.

The announcement could come around Skyrim’s 15th anniversary on November 11, according to the report. That is not a confirmed announcement date, and the Sentinel title has not been officially confirmed either.

After more than eight years, even a full name would be a welcome start toward learning more about the game.

Report points to Hammerfell

Warren also reports that the game will be set in Hammerfell and explore the history and secrets of the Elder Scrolls themselves. He does not expect those details to be revealed alongside the title.

Hammerfell has appeared in previous games in the series, including The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall and The Elder Scrolls Online. Bethesda announced The Elder Scrolls VI with a short teaser in 2018.
