The Duskbloods delayed to 2027 for balancing
FromSoftware's Switch 2 action game has moved to 2027, with extra time for rules and balancing adjustments after its network test.

The Duskbloods, FromSoftware’s multiplayer action game for Nintendo Switch 2, has been delayed from 2026 to 2027. The studio has not given a new exact date.
In its delay announcement, FromSoftware said it was setting aside more time for final adjustments to the game’s rules and balance. The August network test, it said, showed interest in varied approaches and strategies as well as direct combat; the extra time is intended to improve how those ideas work.
Battles against players and enemies
In The Duskbloods, up to eight players meet in online battles, face enemies and compete for First Blood. Players take the role of the Bloodsworn, characters with powers derived from blood, and can form temporary alliances or rivalries with one another. The game is exclusive to Switch 2.
Online play requires an internet connection, a Nintendo Account and a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership, according to Nintendo’s game page.
