Sci-fi horror game Derelikt arrives on PS5 November 13

Sci-fi horror game Derelikt is coming to PS5 on November 13, creator Philipp Jensen of Visuwyg announced on PlayStation Blog. Its visual style draws on horror games from the original PlayStation era.

You play an outside contractor sent to find out what happened to a missing excavation team. The investigation takes place aboard Von Neumann Outpost, attached to an asteroid orbiting Saturn. According to Jensen, the survivors you meet do not all tell the same story.

Alongside shooting, players explore, manage resources, talk to characters and solve puzzles. Jensen describes more than a dozen characters, each with secrets and motives of their own.

The game uses hand-painted textures and lighting inspired by fifth-generation games. Jensen says players can turn certain effects on or off.
