Cronos: Lazarus, a story expansion for Cronos: The New Dawn, comes to PC on December 3, 2026. It returns players to the game’s world as the Warden and requires the base game to play on Steam.

The Warden gets his own story

The expansion follows the former Pathfinder as he becomes the Warden known from the base game. Cut off from the Collective, he is trying to awaken a lost Essence while a new hunter is sent to find and eliminate him.

Faster combat against a new pursuer

Where the base game emphasizes precision and choosing your battles, the expansion shifts toward faster, more aggressive combat. The Warden can leave a decoy and briefly become invisible, abilities that will help him face an opponent designed to match his strength.

Bloober Team and PixelAnt Games are developing the expansion. Players can already add it to their wishlist on Steam.

Switching to a character we already know from the original game is a great way to expand the story without starting a new world.
