Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter return as Bill and Ted in an arcade game
The game has 15 stages and local co-op for two players. A crowdfunding campaign is planned for February 2027.
A new arcade game based on the film Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure is in development for PC, PS5, Xbox Series and Switch. Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter, who played Ted and Bill in the film, will return to voice their characters.
Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure: Arcade can be played solo as either character or with a friend in local co-op. Its Steam page describes 15 side-scrolling stages and minigames against historical figures including Socrates, Napoleon and Beethoven.
Art of Play Interactive is developing the game with Roditeli Productions. Its BackerKit page lists February 2027 for the crowdfunding campaign to fund development, not the game’s release. Steam does not list a precise release date.
