Bay 12: Mech Repair puts you to work as a mechanic for giant war machines: you’ll find faults, dismantle damaged systems and repair them. Crimson Herring Studios’ first-person game has been revealed for PC, with no release date announced.

According to the game’s description, each machine arriving in the bay needs a diagnosis and a work plan. The announced jobs include welding, drilling and servicing hydraulics and reactors. You can also salvage scrap to make parts and spend credits from work orders on better tools and equipment for the bay.

Despite the military machines, all direct gameplay takes place in the repair bay. The developers describe a war conveyed through sound and the environment, with active combat staying off-screen.

Crimson Herring Studios, which also made Sovereign Syndicate, is developing the game, with Zugalu Entertainment publishing. Rock Paper Shotgun reported the reveal.
