ArcheAge Chronicles enters Early Access on PC on November 3, according to its Steam page. XLGAMES’ online RPG will launch as a work in progress, with the studio planning to expand it around player feedback.

What is in the starting build?

The Early Access version includes three regions in Auroria and four classes, each with two weapons. Alongside exploration, it offers dungeons, raids, PvP, housing, crafting, trading and guild activities.

Combat mixes melee, ranged attacks and magic with dodges, blocks and parries. Away from fights, players can gather resources, farm and trade with one another.

It’s just amazing when an MMO gets this much care and offers so many possibilities in its world.

How long will Early Access last?

The developer estimates nine to 12 months, while warning that feedback and development progress could change that timeline. Its plans for the full release include more regions, a third weapon for each class and improvements to combat and progression. Those are planned additions rather than features already included at launch.

Before installing

Minimum requirements include 16GB of RAM and 100GB of free space on an SSD. Steam also lists XIGNCODE3, a kernel-level anti-cheat system. Hebrew is absent from the supported language list; English interface text and subtitles are included.
