ArcheAge Chronicles launched in Steam Early Access for PC on November 3. Developer and publisher XLGAMES expects the phase to last around nine to 12 months, though it says the timeline could change with player feedback and development progress.

The current version includes three regions of Auroria: Diamond Shores, Gylden Ruins and Astron Plains. Players can choose from four classes, each with two weapons. Dungeons, raids, player-versus-player combat, housing, crafting and trading are also available.

XLGAMES plans to add regions, a third weapon for each class and additional gender options, starting with selected classes. These are plans for the full version and may change in response to feedback during Early Access.

The game uses XIGNCODE3, an anti-cheat system that operates at the operating system’s kernel level. English interface text and subtitles are supported; full audio is listed in Korean.
