Acer Predator Atlas 8 Launches in the US for $1,300, Best Buy Exclusive
Acer's Windows 11 gaming handheld with Game Pass goes on sale November 1. Pre-orders have already sold out, and there is no Israeli price yet.
According to Engadget, Acer’s Predator Atlas 8 gaming handheld goes on sale in the US on November 1 for $1,300. It is a Best Buy exclusive, and pre-orders there have already sold out.
What you get
Only one model is being sold, the Arc G3 Extreme version. It has an Intel Arc B390 GPU with 12 Xe3 cores, 24GB of LPDDR5x memory and an 8-inch 120Hz touchscreen. It runs Windows 11 and supports Xbox Game Pass. Acer’s official product page also lists an 8-inch 120Hz display and Windows 11. According to Engadget, it is the first Acer gaming handheld to officially go on sale in the US.
What it means for Israeli buyers
The report does not include an Israeli price or release date. Anyone considering an order from the US should factor in shipping, taxes and warranty coverage.
Another handheld option is welcome, but I would also like to see clear pricing and availability in Israel.
The device was announced in May, and a new round of online orders opens on Best Buy’s site on November 1.
